The Kansas City Chiefs tight end looked dejected while walking off the field with his teammates following the 40-22 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles

Kelce, 35, was unable to help get things going for the AFC champs, catching only four passes for 39 yards.

Early in the game, Kelce looked defeated when cameras caught him on the sidelines as quarterback Patrick Mahomes struggled on the field. He hung his head in frustration while walking back to the Chiefs bench after Mahomes, 28, threw multiple interceptions in the first half of the game to put the Philadelphia Eagles up by double digits.

Fox Sports’ Erin Andrews reported on the mood of the Chiefs sideline following Mahomes’ second interception. “As you can imagine, a lot of emotion on the Chiefs’ sideline,” she said, noting that Kelce had “a couple of drops” in the first half.

Andrews said the sideline was “pretty calm” when the Chiefs went down 10 points, as they’ve proven to overcome a deficit time and time again, but once Mahomes threw the pick-six, the players were feeling “different emotions” about their chances to three-peat.

One of the few bright spots for the Chiefs was rookie wide receiver Xavier Worthy, who finished with 157 yards and scored two touchdowns.

For most of the game, KC was stymied by the Eagles’ smothering defense.

It wasn’t until near the end of the third quarter that the Chiefs even reached midfield.

Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts was named MVP while two birthday boys — star running back Saquon Barkley and rookie cornerback Cooper DeJean — also aided in bringing the franchise its second Vince Lombardi trophy.

It was a disappointing end to a season in which the Chiefs made it to the Super Bowl a third time in three years. Had they won on Sunday, the team would have made NFL history.

Sunday was also rough going for Taylor Swift, who was booed by the crowd after she appeared on the big screen early in the game.

In video footage shared by the NFL, Swift, 35, looked surprised but seemingly unbothered when she heard the negative reaction from fans.

The “So High School” singer turned to her pal, rapper Ice Spice and longtime friend Ashley Avignone, and gave the crowd a bit of side-eye as the group shook off the negativity.
