Kelce is now under contract through the 2027 season and the deal adds $34.25 million to the two years remaining on his old deal, according to reports.

However, Kimmel joked that the salary is “gum money” to girlfriend Taylor Swift, who was added to Forbes World’s Billionaires List last month, as the “Fortnight” superstar amassed an estimated $1.1 billion fortune this year, according to the publication.

“Can you imagine being in a relationship where you make $34 million and you’re still the broke boyfriend?” Kimmel joked, before pointing out Swift’s major Billboard Hot 100 accomplishment following the release of her 11th studio album The Tortured Poets Department.

He congratulated the star on being “the first artist in history to occupy all of the top 14 spots on Billboard’s Hot 100 list,” noting that “29 of the 31 tracks on her new album are in the top 50.”

“I feel like Taylor Swift at this point, if she wanted to, could win the Kentucky Derby,” Kimmel concluded.
