Neighbor Katherine Bolton reportedly told the local review board that she had received an estimate of approximately $75,000 to protect the sewer line by lining it. She fears the roots of the proposed trees could create additional problems for the aging infrastructure.

The project team has indicated a willingness to adjust the landscaping to comply with local restrictions. According to local reporting, officials planned to review a revised proposal on November 10.
