According to the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, the two had already been getting to know each other weeks before she attended his game against the Chicago Bears.

“We had known each other for close to a month up to that point,” Kelce shared during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show Wednesday.

Three days before Swift attended the Chiefs-Bears game, Kelce shared on The Pat McAfee Show that he “threw the ball in her court” and had invited her to see him play. On Wednesday, he revealed he had already known she would go see him play when he said that on the show.

“It wasn’t just an out-of-the-blue, ‘Hey, come to the game,’” Kelce said. Since that first appearance, Swift has attended 12 of Kelce’s games.

“I love it when Taylor comes and supports me and enjoys the game with the fam and friends. It’s been nothing but a wonderful year, man,” he told McAfee.

Although the attention their relationship has brought him is “brand new,” he said it’s something he’s having fun with.

“You know, it’s been a crazy, crazy ride that I could have never anticipated,” he continued. “But I’m having fun with it. The majority of the world is having fun with it, outside all the cranky NFL fans that just don’t want to see the Chiefs win.”

Rumors of a romance between the two started after the athlete attended the singer’s Eras Tour at Arrowhead Stadium and attempted to give her his number.

“If you’re up on Taylor Swift concerts, there are friendship bracelets, and I received a bunch of them being there, but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it,” he recalled to his brother Jason on their New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce podcast.

Kelce said he was “a little butthurt” to have not had the chance to give her the personalized bracelet due to her being busy prepping the show.

“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings,” he told his older brother.

Her work ethic is something he admires and that they share in common, he revealed during an interview for WSJ. Magazine’s December/January issue. His own work ethic is why he won’t be at the Grammy’s on Sunday. he told McAfee.

“I wish I could go support Taylor at the Grammys and watch her win every single award that she’s nominated for but I think I got practice on Sunday,” said Kelce.

Kelce and the Chiefs will take on the San Francisco 49ers at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. At the Grammy’s, Swift up for six awards, including album of the year, record of the year and song of the year.

Amid the duo’s crazy schedules, the NFL star also admitted that dating the Grammy-winning singer, also 34, is ‘a wild experience’.

He said: ‘Man, I tell you what, it’s a wild experience, but I’m enjoying and loving every bit of it.’

He added: ‘I’ll tell you what, man, I’m not thinking about anything but this football game. There’s nothing in my mind that’s happening until this football game is over with.’

Travis was in complete awe about Taylor after she announced the release of her upcoming album, The Tortured Poets Department, calling it ‘unbelievable.’

And he also confirmed he has heard bits of the record — set to be released.

‘I have heard some of it, yes, and it’s unbelievable. I can’t wait for her to shake up the world when it finally drops.

Travis — who admitted he hasn’t spoken with Taylor since her night at the Grammys — added: ‘She’s unbelievable. She’s rewriting the history books herself. I told her I’d have to hold up my end of the bargain and come home with some hardware, too.’

Kelce also noted the influence Swift has had on bringing new fans to football: ‘She’s definitely brought a lot of new faces to the game,’ he said.

‘Taylor has an unbelievable fan base that follows her and supports her throughout her life. It’s been fun to kind of gather the Swifties into Chiefs Kingdom and open them up to the football world and the sports world.’

The athlete admitted that he has not spoken with Swift since Sunday night’s Grammy Awards.

Kelce says he’s loving Taylor Swift being ‘part of Chiefs Kingdom’

The Kansas City Chiefs plane landed in Las Vegas to start preparing for Super Bowl LVIII as Swift won a Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album, said Kelce.

He saw the singer win her first hardware of the night as he regained phone service. Yet, Kelce said he has not spoken with Swift since the Grammys because she needed to get on a plane, likely to Tokyo for the Japanese leg of ‘The Eras Tour’.

Kelce did not answer whether Swift would be in attendance at Super Bowl LVIII at Allegiant Stadium or whether she has a private plane to make the game.

Swift has attended 12 Chiefs games this season, including all three Chiefs postseason wins.

‘She seems to be enjoying the games,’ Kelce said. ‘She’s a part of Chiefs Kingdom right now. It’s fun to see her enjoy the game of football knowing that it’s kind of new to her life.’

He did however reveal his overall favorite Taylor song. ‘Right now, I’d probably say Anti-Hero just ’cause I hear it every single day,’ he said

🚨 BREAKING: It wasn’t a quiet gathering — it was a surge of voices that quickly drew national attention. Large-scale protests calling for impeachment have erupted in multiple locations, placing renewed political pressure on Donald Trump as demonstrators demand accountability. Notably, organizers framed the events around constitutional process rather than partisan spectacle. While some critics describe the demonstrations as politically motivated, participants insist their concerns center on governance and oversight. Analysts say the scale and coordination of the protests — more than any single slogan — is what has intensified the conversation. This wasn’t just about turnout — it was about momentum. In today’s political climate, sustained public demonstrations often signal broader undercurrents within the electorate. As images circulate and reactions ripple across media platforms, many are watching closely to see whether these protests translate into formal action — or remain a powerful symbolic statement. 👇
