Sofía Vergara’s Outing on the Anniversary of Her Split From Joe Manganiello Proves She Has Moved On
Sofía Vergara and Joe Manganiello are 100% done. So done, in fact, that both actors are already in new relationships now that the anniversary of their split is upon us. Vergara stepped out for a date night with her boyfriend Justin Saliman on July 1 almost exactly a year since her split from Manganiello, who listed their date of separation as July 2 in his 2023 filing.
The Magic Mike actor and the Modern Family alum officially confirmed their breakup on July 18 after breakup rumors surfaced when Vergara was spotted celebrating her birthday in Italy with no wedding ring and no husband in sight.
“We have made the difficult decision to divorce,” the couple, who had been married for seven years at the time of their split, shared in a statement to Page Six. “As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for respect for our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives.”
It was Manganiello who officially filed for divorce two days later, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason. Vergara, 51, later confirmed that they split because Manganiello, 47, wanted kids while she had no plans to have another child.
Their divorce was officially finalized in April but, by then, both of the exes had moved on to new partners. Manganiello went public with his new romance with actress Caitlin O’Connor in September 2023. The couple made their red carpet debut in December.
