Sofía Vergara Gets Birthday Love from Modern Family Costars as She Celebrates with Boyfriend Justin Saliman
Sofía Vergara rang in her birthday with some social media love from her Modern Family costars!
The actress turned 52 on Wednesday, July 10, and was celebrated by some of her former onscreen family members, including Julie Bowen, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Sarah Hyland and Rico Rodriguez.
Bowen shared a sweet photo with Vergara from her 2015 Hollywood Walk of Fame star ceremony, writing in the caption, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SOFIA!!! I’m sending you a hug with my giant man-arms. I love you!!❤️😘💕.”
Vergara reposted it to her Instagram Stories, writing over it, “I looov you.”
Ferguson called Vergara an “icon” as he shared three silly photos with her, including a hilarious shot from Hyland’s wedding. She reposted his post, too, writing over it, “i miss U!!!!!!❤️.”
Hyland’s post on her Instagram Stories featured the same funny shot of the actress as Ferguson, 48, had shared, from Hyland’s wedding to Wells Adams. “I love and miss you so much! Forever obsessed with you 💋 😂 💋 ,” she wrote over the posts as she zoomed into Vergara’s face.
Vergara’s onscreen son paid tribute to her, too, sharing some selfies from the set of Modern Family and his “favorite photo” of them together from the show as he wrote on his Instagram Stories, “Love you so much! I hope you have the best day ❤️.”
The Griselda actress celebrated her birthday with a dinner with loved ones, including Heidi Klum, who shared some photos from the dinner on Instagram as she honored her friend on her birthday
Happy Birthday my beautiful smart and most important [sic] funny @sofiavergara ❤️,” Klum wrote. “I love you so much 🌺🌸🌺🌸🌺❤️.”
The actress had two cakes delivered to the table and her gathered friends sang her “Happy Birthday” in a sweet video Klum posted on her Instagram Stories.
One of the cakes was decorated with a photo of Vergara, while the other was a perfectly coordinated yellow to match her strapless dress.
Vergara’s boyfriend Justin Saliman was also in attendance at the dinner and was seated beside the actress, who shared a photo with the orthopedic surgeon in a photo dump – her first time posting her new love interest on her Instagram feed. She has been seeing him since October, just three months after she and Joe Manganiello announced their divorce.
