Simone Biles admits there is one NFL player she admires more than her husband Jonathan Owens: ‘A freak of nature’

In a recent episode of Not Just Football with Cam Heyward, Olympic gymnast Simone Biles surprised fans by choosing Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes as her favorite NFL player, even above her husband, Chicago Bears star Jonathan Owens.

While Biles acknowledged Owens for breaking stereotypes as an undrafted player thriving in his seventh year in the league, she expressed her admiration for Mahomes’ extraordinary talent.

Besides my husband, I really think we always go back to Patrick Mahomes,” Biles stated to Not Just Football with Cam Heyward.

She described Mahomes as a “freak of nature,” noting how he consistently performs miracles on the field.

“The Chiefs could be down, and he’s just a miracle worker. He’d probably kill me for saying that or admitting it, at least,” she joked.

Despite her admiration for Mahomes, Biles and Owens share a strong bond, highlighted by Biles’ recent decision to get a tattoo of her husband’s initials on her ring finger. This heartfelt gesture symbolizes their commitment to one another.

In an interview with Access Hollywood, Biles shared the story behind the tattoo, revealing that Owens also sports a similar design on his ring finger.

“It’s very sentimental, and he has an ‘S’ on his ring finger as just an ode to me,” she explained.

He loves me so much, and I love him, and I knew that it would be such a big surprise.”

Biles added that she wanted to surprise Owens with the tattoo, noting that she had previously insisted she wouldn’t get one.

“I wanted to surprise him because he already got his, and I kept telling him, ‘No, I’m not doing it.’ So, he actually woke up in the middle of the night, and I had just landed in San Francisco, and he was like, ‘I am going to cry.'”

Biles’ tattoo tribute came shortly after her triumphant performance at the Paris Olympics, where she earned three gold medals. Owens, despite his commitments to football camps, made the trip to Paris to cheer for Biles during her competitions, showcasing the couple’s strong support for one another.
