Oilers’ teammates break significant rule at Connor McDavid’s wedding
All yesterday, photos and images of Connor McDavid and Lauren Kyle’s wedding were trending.
The problem is, the Edmonton Oilers’ captain and his bride had one rule for their special day : no cell phones and no cameras
Well, that did not work as pictures were leaked on Tuesday with some of McDavid’s own teammates sharing some images of the day and preparations surrounding it.
While there aren’t any yet of McDavid at the altar or Lauren’s most likely extravagant gown, many pictures of the guests and the celebrations have been shared. Defenseman Evan Bouchard shared a post that got people talking and it seems that former Oilers enforcers Pat Maroon and Zack Kassian were in attendance, as well as Canadian snowboarder Mark McMorris and famous Canadian DJ duo Loud Luxury.
Oilers rookie Phil Broberg also appears on Bouchard’s pictures.
Here are some of the images that shows that it is hard for many people to respect the rules.
McDavid’s brother Cam McDavid was his best man, along with teammate Leon Draisaitl.
For the official pictures of the ceremony and reception, it has been said that photos will be available from McDavid’s professional photographer, as revealed by one of the event team’s members posted online saying that it would take a few more days for those to be shared.
