LOOK BACK: Taylor Swift’s furious fans SLAM the Golden Globes and claim the singer was ‘robbed’ of award for her Eras Tour film: ‘They invented a whole new category and she still lost!’😱
The singer, 34, missed out on the inaugural prize for Cinematic and Box Office Achievement to box office megahit Barbie.
Robbie, 33, and director Greta Gerwig, 40, rushed to the stage along with the cast and crew to accept the award – while Swift was a gracious loser as she led the standing ovation.
However her fans were far less forgiving and flooded social media with complaints that Taylor was robbed of a prize, despite claiming it had been ‘invented’ for her.
One tweeted: ‘Golden globes is rigged taylor should have won,’ while another added: ‘I hope Taylor never goes to these FILM INDUSTRY non-worthy award shows. She is more impactful and popular than everyone in that room combined
