King Charles pays special tribute to Kate Middleton after Meghan’s latest stunt
King Charles and Queen Camilla paid emotional tribute to cancer-stricken Kate Middleton with their latest outing after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s celebration in Montecito.
The Princess of Wales, who in 2019 co-designed a Chelsea Flower Show garden to encourage the public to get back in touch with nature, was honoured by the King and Queen as they stepped out at the Royal Horticultural Society’s Chelsea Flower Show in London on Monday.
Kate, who’s out of action due to her ongoing preventative chemotherapy following her cancer diagnosis, last year made a surprise appearance at the show to take part in the first Children’s Picnic at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
Princess Kate was looking gorgeous in a vibrant bubblegum pink dress to attend the event at the Royal Hospital Chelsea, London. She wore the same dress during her meeting a cancer survivor kid at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh in 2021.
The picnic initiative aims to help bring gardening and nature into the lives of more children, something that has been championed by Kate. She inspired the idea during a conversation with the RHS during 2019 when her garden was on show at Chelsea.
This year’s showcase, which also focuses on restorative gardens and the positive impact that gardening has on mental health and well-being, is the first flower show since Kate Middleton and King Charles cancer diagnosis.
Kate Middleton is a big fan of the flower show and loves to visit it, but this year she was forced to remain at home due to her cancer treatment.
However, King Charles stepped out to pay tribute to his beloved daughter-in-law in special way and smelled some beautiful flowers for the future Queen he regards as a precious jewel of the royal family.
King Charles outing comes just day after Meghan Markle and Prince Harry celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary with pals in Montecito
