In Photos: Sneak peek from Connor McDavid’s fiancée Lauren Kyle’s final fitting before July 27 wedding
Connor McDavid and Lauren Kyle have been engaged since June 2023. They are set to get married on July 27 this month.
Lauren shared a couple of snaps from the latest wedding preparations on her Instagram story. The first picture showed a sunlit room with several white dresses hanging on the left side. The dresses appear to be her bridal gowns.

The second picture gives a closer look at some of the bridal gowns hanging on the dresser. Each gown is white although they do differ from one another in terms of their designs. One of the gowns has a draped, ruched design. There is another with prominent gathering around the bodice and waist. One of them is off-the-shoulder with a smooth, fitted bodice and slight flare.
Another gown has an asymmetrical neckline with shoulder straps. One of the dresses has a straight neckline and fitted bodice. While Kyle has not revealed which of the bridal gowns she is about to wear on her big day, it might as well be one of the fine pieces from the picture.
The last story showed her celebrating the ‘final fitting’ with a flute of champagne.
At a recent dinner, Connor McDavid and Lauren Kyle enjoyed a lovely evening with friends. Among the guests were Ryan McLeod’s girlfriend Alexie Andlauer, Sam Gagner’s wife Rachel Yelena Gagner, and Erik Gudbranson’s partner Sarah. Also present was Rachel Dunford, daughter of the founders of the Boots and Hearts Music Festival, Stan and Eva Dunford.
Lauren posted a short clip featuring the dress on Tuesday. She tagged Retrofete in the caption, where the dress was apparently from. Retrofete is a New-York based ‘high-end contemporary’ fashion apparel line.
Previously Lauren shared a heartfelt Instagram reel from her bridal shower, expressing gratitude to McDavid and her mother for hosting the celebration. Her close friends were in attendance at the event including McDavid’s teammate Leon Draisaitl’s partner Celeste Desjardins.Connor and Lauren have been together for well over eight years now.
