Connor McDavid’s wife Lauren Kyle teases release of private Ontario wedding photos
On July 27, 2024, Connor McDavid and Lauren Kyle had a private wedding. They haven’t shared any photos yet, but Lauren stirred interest by hinting at their release on Instagram. She posted a few stories that gave a glimpse of their special day.
One of Lauren’s posts featured Kristin D’Angelo, the event planner for the wedding. D’Angelo’s message was:
“Can’t wait to share everything from the last two weeks with the best of the best.”
Lauren reposted with her own note:
“The best team!! Can’t wait.”
Lenny, their dog, was a star of the wedding on Lauren’s Instagram stories, appearing in two posts. In both stories, he playfully posed for the camera.
Lauren Kyle, an interior designer and founder of Kyle & Co. Design Studio, announced their engagement on Instagram on June 25, 2023. She expressed joy and gratitude for their eight-year journey and McDavid’s proposal.
McDavid and Kyle have been together since 2015. They were introduced by her cousin, who is also McDavid’s teammate.
Connor McDavid’s partner, Lauren Kyle, celebrated the engagement of their friends, Leon Draisaitl and Celeste Desjardins. Lauren shared Instagram photos from a day out with Draisaitl and Celeste, including a mirror selfie captioned,
“Golf with the girls … and the hubby and Fiance”
She also posted a picture of the couple at a restaurant where Celeste showed off her engagement ring, with “Congratulations” written on a dessert platter.
Draisaitl and Desjardins attended McDavid and Kyle’s wedding in Ontario. Although the wedding photos haven’t been released, Draisaitl was seen enjoying music during the wedding rehearsal in Desjardins’ Instagram story.
Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl are close friends on and off the ice. Fans hope to see them play together for years, as Draisaitl is reportedly signing an extension with the Oilers
After Draisaitl proposed to Celeste, McDavid was asked if he gave any advice. McDavid said he hadn’t seen Draisaitl yet but was happy for him and his big step.
“No, I haven’t seen him yet. Looking forward to seeing him. It’ll be nice for him to get home, spend some time with his family. Obviously a big step in his life – happy for him.” (via Twitter Oilers After Dark)
Draisaitl and Desjardins have been dating since 2018, but their wedding date is not yet known.
