Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers suffered the heartbreak of a lifetime as they lost in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final, despite coming level from a 3-0 deficit. The Oilers captain recently sent a heartfelt message to the Oilers faithful on his Instagram this offseason.
On Tuesday, Connor McDavid shared a carousel of pictures from their 2023-24 season, including snaps of a full Rogers Arena brimming with orange and blue. In the caption, McDavid thanked the ‘best fans in the league.’
“A lot of highs and lows this season. Truly a learning experience. Thank you #OilCountry for sticking with us to the end. We have the best fans in the league. Keep believing and I can’t wait to get back to work next season 🧡💙,” Connor McDavid wrote on his Instagram
