The Chicago Bears are Simone Biles’ fans. That much is clear after the NFL franchise shared a special message for the legendary gymnast as the 2024 Olympics officially kick off on Friday.
As many fans know, Biles’ husband, Jonathan Owens, plays for the Bears. In fact, the franchise even allowed the veteran safety to skip some parts of training camp and go to Paris to cheer for his wife.
Having said that, the Bears made sure to show their support as well by sending an encouraging message to Biles before the Olympics’ opening ceremony.
Wishing Simone Biles the best of luck in the Olympics! Your Bears family is rooting for you,” the team wrote along with an edited photo of Biles in front of the Eiffel Tower.
Sure enough, there will be a lot of eyes on Simone Biles as she looks to further cement her status as the greatest gymnast of all time. She already has 37 medals between the Olympics and World Championships, and adding more to her tally would only make her even more difficult to surpass.
The good news for Biles is she has plenty of people backing her. There are the Bears, of course, and her husband who’s going to Paris very soon.
