BUSTED: DHS arrests at least 46 undocumented workers in a major immigration sweep at a New Jersey freight warehouse…..⤵️⤵️⤵️
In a major pre-dawn operation that sent shockwaves through the logistics industry, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has confirmed the arrest of at least 46 undocumented workers at a freight warehouse in central New Jersey.
According to officials, the coordinated raid was the result of a month-long investigation into alleged employment of undocumented immigrants at several distribution hubs tied to major retail and shipping companies.
Witnesses described the scene as “chaotic but controlled,” as DHS agents, assisted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers, entered the facility at around 5:30 a.m. Employees were separated, questioned, and transported to regional holding centers for processing.
> “This operation underscores our commitment to enforcing immigration laws in workplaces that deliberately exploit vulnerable labor,” said DHS spokesperson Maria Santos, confirming that charges may also be filed against company managers accused of knowingly hiring unauthorized workers.
Union representatives and immigrant rights advocates quickly condemned the sweep, calling it “a cruel and politically motivated show of force” that leaves dozens of families uncertain about their futures.
Meanwhile, local officials have pledged to review the company’s labor practices. “New Jersey values hard work — but no one is above the law,” said a state labor investigator familiar with the case.
As of Friday evening, some detainees are being held for further questioning, while others may face immediate deportation proceedings pending identification and legal review.
This marks one of the largest immigration enforcement actions in the state in recent years — reigniting debate over border policy, workplace verification, and the human toll of America’s ongoing immigration crisis.
