Halloween 2026 has brought another exciting celebrity moment, and this time, the Kansas City Chiefs family is at the centre of the conversation!

From hilarious costume transformations to adorable family photographs and a special musical connection to Taylor Swift, the Halloween celebrations have given football supporters and Swifties plenty to talk about.

The headline making rounds claims that Taylor Swift and her husband, Travis Kelce, decided to dress as each other for Halloween. The playful idea has certainly captured fans’ imaginations, especially considering the couple’s well-known connection to the worlds of pop music and professional football. However, the costume-swap claim has not been independently confirmed.

Meanwhile, Patrick Mahomes, his wife Brittany Mahomes and their three children have delivered something fans can actually admire: an adorable Toy Story-themed family Halloween celebration.

THE MAHOMES FAMILY BRINGS TOY STORY TO LIFE!

Patrick and Brittany Mahomes clearly understood the assignment!

The couple embraced the Halloween spirit by transforming their family into characters from the beloved Disney and Pixar animated franchise, Toy Story.

Patrick Mahomes stepped into the iconic role of Buzz Lightyear, wearing the familiar space ranger costume. His wife, Brittany, looked fantastic as Jessie the cowgirl, complete with a red hat and signature cowgirl-inspired outfit.

Their children also joined the fun, making the entire celebration even more special.

Five-year-old Sterling dressed as Barbie, while three-year-old Bronze transformed into Woody. Their youngest child, Golden, looked adorable in a green alien-inspired costume.

The coordinated outfits created a colourful family photograph that immediately caught the attention of Chiefs supporters and social media followers.

One particularly entertaining detail was Patrick’s commitment to the family theme. Despite his demanding football schedule, the NFL superstar still participated in the costume planning and embraced his Buzz Lightyear character.

Brittany shared the pictures on Instagram on October 31, giving followers a glimpse into their Halloween celebration.

Fans were especially impressed by Sterling’s confident Barbie pose and the adorable appearance of little Golden.

TAYLOR SWIFT’S NEW SONG MAKES THE CELEBRATION EVEN MORE SPECIAL!

But there was another reason Swifties paid attention to the Mahomes family’s Halloween photographs.

Brittany selected Taylor Swift’s new song, “I Knew It, I Knew You,” as the soundtrack accompanying the celebration.

The song, sometimes shortened to IKIIKY, was written for Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 5 and draws inspiration from the character Jessie.

Taylor previously explained that watching the film inspired her to write the song, making Brittany’s musical choice particularly fitting for her family’s Halloween costumes.

The connection was almost perfect.

Brittany dressed as Jessie, Patrick became Buzz Lightyear, and Taylor’s music brought the entire Toy Story theme together.

It was a lovely intersection of football, family entertainment and pop culture.

For Swifties, the song’s appearance was another opportunity to celebrate Taylor’s musical contribution to the beloved animated franchise.

TAYLOR AND TRAVIS: THE COUPLE EVERYONE LOVES TALKING ABOUT!

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce continue to attract enormous attention whenever their names appear together.

Their relationship has become one of the most recognisable connections between professional sports and the entertainment industry.

Taylor’s appearances at Chiefs games, Travis’s growing presence in the entertainment world and their public celebrations have created a fascinating connection between two different fan communities.

The idea of the couple dressing as each other for Halloween is particularly entertaining because their individual styles are so recognisable.

Imagine Taylor embracing Travis’s football-inspired appearance while Travis recreates Taylor’s glamorous pop-star fashion!

It would certainly be a hilarious role reversal.

Although that particular costume exchange remains unverified, fans have plenty of reasons to enjoy the Halloween connection between the two families.

THE MAHOMES FAMILY HAS MADE HALLOWEEN A TRADITION!

This is not the first time Patrick and Brittany have impressed followers with coordinated family costumes.

Over the years, the couple have repeatedly turned Halloween into a special family occasion.

Their previous celebrations have included celestial costumes, golf-inspired outfits, a zoo theme and Spider-Man characters.

The Toy Story transformation continues that tradition, demonstrating how the couple enjoys creating special memories with their children.

For many supporters, these moments offer a refreshing glimpse into the family side of professional athletes.

Away from the stadium, Patrick is not just a superstar quarterback. He is also a father who enjoys participating in fun activities with his children.

ALL EYES TURN TO THE CHIEFS VS. BRONCOS SHOWDOWN!

The Halloween excitement comes just before an important Kansas City Chiefs matchup against the Denver Broncos on November 1, 2026.

The AFC West showdown adds another layer of excitement to the celebrations.

Patrick Mahomes and his teammates will be looking to make a statement, while Travis Kelce remains one of the most recognisable players on the roster.
