In Citizen Kim, Jonathan Van Meter’s new biography that hit shelves on October 27, Kim opened up about how she shields her four children from headlines about her ex-husband, Kanye West.
“My whole household knows what a ‘lockdown’ means if I text it,” she explained. “No TVs, just movies. No radio, just plug in a phone for music in the car. Not even, like, Sirius XM, because they talk about current events in real time. It’s like, They don’t have to be a party to this.”
Kim also admitted that co-parenting can be tough, saying that she worries about Kanye “all day” because he’s “the father of my kids.” She added that her children would never know when the two of them aren’t getting along.
The former couple share North, 13, Saint, 10, Chicago, 8, and Psalm, 7.
