Brittany Mahomes, wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, has decided not to share photos of her newborn child, Sterling.
The Kansas City Chiefs might be the most hated team in the NFL. Patrick Mahomes has been to the Conference Championship Round in every season as a starter. Heโs been to five Super Bowls, winning three, breaking fansโ hearts along the way.

This could manifest itself in several ways. For example, Brittany Mahomes revealed the big decision regarding the newest Chiefs fan, Sterling Mahomes.
โToday was Sterlingโs actual due date, sure glad she came a few days early,โ Brittany wrote on Feb. 24.
โWe will share photos of her when we [feel] the time is right,โ Brittany continued on her Story. โI know the Internet will instantly take the photos of her and share everywhere so just preparing myself for my newborn baby girl to be shared to the world! Right now we are just soaking in every minute with her.โ
On such a big stage, privacy gets sacrificed. When your family members embarrass themselves, or get into trouble, or have a new addition, generally it stays, well, family business. When youโre related to the best quarterback on the planet โ and the most hated (active) quarterback on the planet โ everything is public.
That lends itself to criticism, and unnecessary stress, and the whims of the public โ a public that sometimes consists of weird, bad people.
The Mahomes children will always have a spotlight on them, and just about every member of the family has had to deal with that in some capacity. That isnโt going away anytime soon. Why subject her newborn to that earlier than she has to?
