The double standard is enough to make your blood boil…

“Real quick, how big of a factor is Donald Trump’s cognitive decline given what we’re seeing at Davos?” a reporter asked.

“I think that the president has been acting in increasingly erratic ways,” responded Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez. “I think it is really damning when we think about the degree to which mass media outlets reported on Joe Biden and, you know, that resulted in the Democratic Party changing its nominee, etcetera.”

“Yet, we are seeing behavior from Donald Trump that is increasingly erratic and alarming and everyone’s pretending that this is normal,” she continued. “I don’t really understand why that is. It is very bizarre.”

“Importantly, I think that for our European partners and for our global partners, I think what they also see is the result of not just one man, right?” she went on. “But also the entire government apparatus and a party that is willing to watch someone decompensate in front of the world and do nothing about it.”

“I don’t know what’s going on, but I find that it would be helpful if we could apply an even standard here and a fraction of the reporting that was dedicated a year or two ago to see that applied right now,” AOC concluded.

We couldn’t agree more. Just this week, Trump uncorked a confused, rambling rant about how his mother once told him that he could be a professional baseball player and explained to him what mental institutions are.

Then, he got up at the World Economic Forum in Davos and put his rotting mind on full display by confusing Iceland and Greenland, musing about how NATO countries used to call him “daddy,” and meandering in a confused, pointless way that reeked of senility.

And that’s on top of his truly deranged behavior which now includes threatening to annex Greenland, slapping and then removing tariffs on our closest allies, and obsessing over the Nobel Peace Prize. This man does not belong in the White House, he belongs in an insane asylum.
